Arise, Shine, For Your Light Has Come

Isaiah 60:1 NASB2020

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.

There is always hope with Jesus. So many today live without hope. So many look at what is happening with the world and feel like everything is falling apart and there aren’t any answers. But God has so designed it this way. God is not the author of wickedness, disease, or destruction. but God allows things to happen to draw the hearts of many to Him.

God is bringing people to a place when all that will matter is having Jesus. For those who run to Jesus and build their lives upon Him, no matter how difficult or hard things get, they will have hope and peace that is supernatural. They will personally know the Living God. But for those who reject Jesus Christ they will fail to find peace and hope. Their lives will be overwhelmed by worry, discouragement, depression, and darkness. To reject Jesus is to reject light and truth. Many in this generation will claim that truth is subjective, but it is not. There is absolute truth and it is only found in Jesus Christ.

The light that has come is Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Those who place their faith and trust in Jesus have their sins forgiven. Those who cling to Jesus will have eternal life in His kingdom. The only way we can be forgiven is by placing our faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

Someday we shall rule and reign with Christ. The world we live in today is passing away. This has always been God’s plan. God knew that when He created Adam and Eve that they would sin in the garden. But it was always the plan that the Son would come and give His life for all humanity. To know Jesus is to know the Living God. In all that we say and do may our focus be to glorify and honor Jesus Christ. May we share Jesus with those who need Him and those who are hurting. Broken and hurt people surround us every day. May our hearts be fixed upon the hope we have in Christ and live lives surrendered to Jesus.

Prayer

Father today I pray that my heart and mind would be surrendered to your will. I pray that the hope I have in Jesus would fill my life and touch those around me. Father I pray that you would open my eyes to see all those who are broken around me. Father may your love fill my life and touch every person that I meet. May my life simply be lived for your pleasure and glory. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
