TRAIL LIFE

Trail Life USA is a church-based Christian mentoring and outdoor adventure program for boys ages 5–17. It combines activities like camping, hiking, service projects, leadership training, and badge/advancement programs with biblical teaching and character development.

How It Works

Boys participate in local “Troops” typically run through churches or Christian organizations. Meetings often include:

• Devotions or Bible discussions

• Skill-building activities

• Team games

• Camping and outdoor experiences

• Community service projects

• Advancement and badge earning

The structure is somewhat similar to traditional scouting programs.

Age Groups

The program is divided into sections by age:

​

• Woodlands Trail: K–5

• Navigators: Grades 6–8

• Adventurers: Grades 9–12

• Guidon: Young adults ages 18–25
